Happy P Day everyone!
So this week was absolutely wonderful and full of surprises! Our Christmas started early with our Christmas Coral of the mission. It is an awesome experience to visit almost all of the areas of our mission singing our testemonies of Christ.
Christmas is everywhere this season, you see in every home, every store, every corner. But is Christ everywhere this season? I have been thinking how I celebrate christmas before, and I think I might have just had Christmas in my heart. I hope that we can all rejoice in the birth of our savior and redeemer this Christmas and the rest of the year. My challenge to each one of you this Christmas season is to: Speak as he would, act as he would, love as he would. Do start off I am going to begin praying every morning for opportunities to testify of Christ through my actions and my words. At the end of everyday I am going to write down my experiences and say a prayer of gratitude! WHO WILL JOIN ME? :)
This week we saw a great change in two of our investigators. The are teenagers, and we went to their house sunday morning to bring them to church and they had forgotten. We entered the church sad that we would have to cancel their baptism this next saturday. I was sitting in sacrament meeting and I felt a hand on my shoulder... It was them! Sitting next to me! We ended up having 7 investigators at church that we hadn't planned on! Looks like Heavenly Father is helping these people celebrate His son the right way!!
Heavenly Father really watches out for us. Sometimes it looks like everything is going wrong, but Heavenly Father is just leading you to something better. On Friday we had to go to another area and we needed to use the bank, because there isn't a bank in our own area. We got off the boat, and began to ask. It seemed as if our only two options were to take a detour to Santos, or use a atm at a gas station that charges loads of money to use. We decided to use the atm at the gas station. We began to get frustrated that it wasn't working, and we began to worry we wouldn't arrive. When an angle arrived disguised as the woman working at the gas station that told us there was a bank in the next road! Miracles are the little things, like Ri finding the blood clot before anything went wrong.
I love you all so much! Have a wonderful week, and don't forget our challenge!
Love, Sister Culley
