What a strange feeling to write my last email on the mission. I hope you all know that I have loved my mission. It has been a wild year and a half. But i feel so blessed to have been given the opportunity to make this sacrifice. I know now, without a shadow of a doubt, that Jesus Christ is my Savior. That He lives. That He loves me. We are asked to give all to our missions. I feel as though I have given things I didn't know that I had. I feel so grateful to be finishing my mission here in Brazil, and continue as a Representative of Christ at all times, in all things and in all places. He has capacitated me through trails I never imagined I could overcome. He has taken a slab of flawed marbel and He has sculpted me into... a missionary. A true, real, live missionary. And it is marvelous to be a missionary. I am filled with an indescribable happiness that I can say, "Hi, I am a missionary of Jesus Christ."
Heavenly Father truly did create all things for our joy and happiness. But I think one sure way to happiness is a mission. The experiences that I have had on my mission are irreplaceable. I have never before felt so loved. I know that the Atonement of Christ has the power to change us, mold us, and turn us into something great. We are all just slabs, but the Master, with His all powerful hands, will mold us into something glorious. And He will do glorious things with us.
I am so grateful for my mission and my Savior. One day He will come to me, I will be able to wet the marks in His hands and feet with my tears of immense gratitude. But I will not know better than I know right now, that He lives. That this is His work, and that His hand is in His work. That He comes unto us in trials, in triumphs, in doubt, and in moments of weekness. I am grateful to forever continue in this glorious work of happiness! I will continue in this path to His celestial mansions, whatever the cost may be.
I love you all. Thank you for always allowing me to feel the love of my Savior through your support and love.
