He says that, "Like all gifts that are given from above, words are sacred and should be used with care, and by constraint of the Spirit." I will try to use the most edifying language possible. Anyone who may have been offended or hurt by my joke please forgive me for my short comings and misplaced joke.
This week was a wonderful week full of adventures and miracles. This week in my new area I met about a million new people, and we were even able to help a few come closer unto Christ. Our investigator Lucia, through lots of prayer and the Book of Mormon, has been able to stop smoking. We are hoping to have the priviledge to see her baptism at the end of this week.
Walking in the beautiful rolling hills of São Sabastião I can't help but stand in awe at how much the Lord loves His children. He created a world so full of wonder and beauty. He gave us the power of choice and a body like His. And He sent us to Earth knowing that we would make mistakes. He loved us enough that He sent His only begotten Son to suffer and atone for our mistakes. He felt every single pain that we feel here in this valley of sadness and hurt. The pain made even Him, a God, tremble because of pain. When our loving Heavenly Father saw His Son suffering He sent Him an angel to comfort and strengthen Him.
When we are in our deepest sorrows, and we cry our for Him, He will not only send us angles, but will send His own Son. This is the love that Heavenly Father has for each and every one of us.
I love you all so much and pray that you can feel of the love of your Father in Heaven every single day.
Love, Sister Culley
